To be honest, I'm not really sure what the point of that video was. I don't think the storyline (if there was one because I missed it) was well thought out. I guess I don't know what the video was for but I really had no liking for it at all.

I thought that the camera and shot quality was great. The camera angles were awesome and it worked great with the rain scene.

So I guess I thought that the video itself was really dumb, but that the camera work was really good.

Well there wasn't much about the video and I am not sure what it was about but they used an interesting way of doing it to keep you watching. The way that used the zooming from both perspectives really made you wonder what was going to happen and kept you wanting to know what the video was about. Just the way that they kept it pretty simple I guess was a good way to make that short of a video kinda interesting even if it had no point.

I didn't like this movie. I don't think that it really has a point.

I liked all of the different angles and shots, but didn't like how the whole movie had only like 4 pictures total. I liked how they have it raining when the guy is talking, I think it adds to the effect and makes the point.

I didn't know that it was a commercial until
I was told. So I don't think that it represents the business very well.

I kind of liked that video, it was a little strange and misleading, which i like. I like it when you think something is going to happen but something totally different, and in my mind random, does. And it's weird how when you watch it, you almost do feel sorry for the lamp...almost.

Well... where to start!

I like this short clip because of all the varying shots and camera angles, the cuts were very smooth and you could hardly notice them. I like how the dollying, tracking and panning were also used in this clip. I think that the "New" lamp that was replacing the old lamp could have been better portrayed because you couldn't really see it. But I also like how the clip is mainly focused no the older lamp and how it feels to be being replaced as technology keeps getting better. I didn't expect the guy to come on at all, and not only that but to say what he did caught me off guard and that is a smooth and well put together clip if you cant predict what will happen next and I couldn't. I do like the dialoge and what he said because my emotions did appeal to the lamp that was being replaced and that was the point of the clip and then to also present the point that they don't have feelings was a special touch.

Well... that was interesting!

I loved the lighting, the angles, the background music. Everything helped tell the story. Actually, the footage DID make me feel bad for the lamp... I thought it was being personified, and that maybe this was about human characteristics, feelings, and real events. I guess I was wrong! It was a very creative and effective way of advertising. The commercial throws you off, and catches you by surprise! Because of that, the commercial sticks with you and makes you remember their product.

Lol! That was very unique. A very creative idea for the commercial but it does not really advertise anything about the business. Which is an interesting way to create a commercial. Except I am not sure if after seeing that commercial I would want to make a trip over that store because I would not have any idea what type of things they sell etc...
As far as the shots in this commercial I liked the way this was put together with a bunch of little clips stuck together. That made it more interesting. I also like how the person in this commercial was not any sort of main focus. They showed that he threw the lamp out, but you really do not know what he looks like or his personality. That made my focus go towards the lamp because the character was not a distraction. The whole video was about a lamp...but no one in this back smh row knows why. :)

Haha I thought that was really intriguing. It kinda made me interested til the end. I thought it had good angles, and I thought the message was pretty easy to get. If I were to critique this company it wouldn't be for the commercial more their logo... and also the fact it didn't really give a good idea where these products were located.

This video really does make you feel sorry for a lamp just because it was disregarded and left out in the rain. You just feel like it got tossed out and no one came to get it, not even the garbage man. It's worth nothing and it is sad because some people think this way, that they are nothing and they are left out in the rain and that no one will come get them. They will just rot away.

I loved that short movie lol. It is strange that you can feel bad for a lamp, because it got tossed out for a new one! I love the camera techniques used. They used a POV shot, and used the rule of thirds really well. Lighting could've probably been improved a little, but i think it was meant to be that way. Not quite sure what the goal of the video was...

I thought this video was very interesting. It actually made you feel sorry for something that has no feelings or can't even talk. It did that through the scenery, music, and angles which goes to show that you can do anything through film. If you have an idea you can make anything come to life.

I thought that the camera angles were really good and liked all the different shot. I also liked the music choice. Even though I'm not really sure what in the world was being advertised in the short clip I found it hilarious at the end and laughed quite a bit!! :)
